DAY 1 - UK/Nice
We fly to Nice and transfer to our hotel for a five night stay.

DAY 2 - Nice
Free to relax in Nice or join our optional excursion to Cannes and Antibes. Located on the shores of La Napoule Bay, Cannes developed from a small fishing village into a fashionable resort for poets, writers and the English aristocracy during the 19th century. Take the time to stroll along La Croisette, the palm tree-lined boulevard that runs along the seafront, top hotels on one side and private beaches on the other. Then visit Antibes, perhaps the most exclusive resort on the Côte d’Azur and a favourite with the extremely wealthy.

DAY 3 - Nice
Experience the celebrated Nice Carnival today. The theme for 2010 is ‘King of the Blue Planet’ and it promises to be an exciting event. The Parade can be enjoyed from your own designated seat as flower-covered floats decorated with the environmental theme in mind, parade along the Promenade des Anglais.

DAY 4 - Monaco & Menton
This morning we include a visit to the stylish Principality of Monaco. Our tour takes us to Monte Carlo, the playground of the very rich and famous, renowned for its casino and exotic gardens. This afternoon, we head to Menton for the unique Lemon Festival, to see the incredible fruit-covered floats promenading through the town. We return to Nice this evening to see the finale of the Carnival – a spectacular firework display.

DAY 5 - Nice
Today you are free in Nice, perhaps the most famous resort in France and set on the spectacular Cote d’Azur. Take a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, explore the narrow streets of the quaint old town and admire the yachts in the port district.
