Day 1
Local departure then onwards to Holland for a 4-night stay.
Day 2
Keukenhof Park (included). We spend a full day discovering the colours and fragrances here. Famed for its breathtaking horticultural displays every year, Keukenhof blooms form a sea of springtime flowers, The exuberant colours of spring, blend beautifully in a landscape of established trees, flowering shrubs, a huge variety of perennials, water gardens, fountains and a large lake. Day 3
Amsterdam (included). Choose from many museums, admire the 17th-century merchant houses and the floating flower market, or simply relax in a canalside café during our visit to this beautiful city. Join our optional canal cruise to view the highlights and tour a diamond factory. B
Day 4
The Hague and Scheveningen (included), Delft (optional, included on Silver Service). The Hague is a beautiful ‘city behind the dunes’. Still known as ‘the largest village of Europe’, it is rich in history and home to the Dutch Royal family. The neighbouring town of Scheveningen with its many beach pavilions and cafés has a splendid promenade, ideal for a beach-side walk. Later, why not join our optional visit to charming Delft, famed for its pottery. B
Day 5
We head to Calais and return home. B
